Kjetil Tefke har participated in several episodes of the Norwegian soap succsess, Hotel Cæsar. Last in season 28 as the personal trainer Jean-Michel Karlsen.

Kjetil Tefkes first role started back in season 8 as one of the four members in the boyband Ztarboyz. In fact, this boyband started quite a chatter in Norwagian tabloid media, because the main character of the band was real life artist Christain Strand.

Dansefeber @ TV Norge

Dansefeber, the norwegian of SYTYCD, holds auditions in major cities across Norway, looking for the top dancers in each city. All types of dance backgrounds are encouraged to audition. Salsa, ballroom, hip-hop, streetdance, contemporary, jazz, ballet and many other types of dancers can be seen auditioning for a chance to win the grand prize.

The first season of Dansefeber was hosted by Kjetil Tefke and Henriette Lien and judges were Lars Undli (break dancer, one of those who brought break dance to Norway), Vibeke Sørlie (hip hop dancer and choreographer, also judge for next season), Jan Ivar Lund (jazz, contemporary and ballroom dancer and choreographer, and Merete Lingjærde (contemporary choreographer).

Popstars/ Cape @ TV3

Pop group Cape was the result of skilled and driven market forces in the Norwegian television and the record industry. Through a collaboration between TV3 and NUI (Norwegian Entertainment Industry) was five youths chosen from among 1104 candidates from across the country who had signed up to audition. The five got the chance to get his big dream of becoming popstars fulfilled - through television series Popstars on TV3, with releases on Blue Jersey Records, a subdivision of NUI Records.

The five selected: Alf Gunnar "Alfie" Nilsen from Trondheim, Mette Olsson from Stavanger, Phung Hang from Brummundal, Kjetil Tefke from Moss and Hanne-Karine Sørby from Porsgrunn. In January 2001, the five members gathered in Oslo, where they worked for several months with dance moves, exercises with singing teacher, styling and photography, meetings with manager and record company, deals with the press, and of course the studio recordings. There was also time for a week-long detour to Cape Town (hence the group name), where also the music video for their single "Tic Tac" was recorded.

The first result was the single "Tic Tac", which went straight into first place on VG. During the year Cape launched several singles, and in june the album Capability came out. The songs were provided by some of the nation's leading hit-composers, and the two main producers Ken Ingwersen and Jon Willy Rydningen - which for the occasion were internationally baptized as Ken & Jon.
